The geoportal HELI_DEM has been performed in the framework of HELI-DEM project, INTERREG
project whose main aim was the elaboration of a cross-border digital terrain model between Italy and Switzerland.
The geoportal, based entirely on OGC standard web services (WFS, WCS, WMS, WPS) orchestration
and open-source technologies, provides both the HELI-DEM model access and different real-time capabilities of geospatial processing to obtain derivative products such as slope and aspect maps, level contours, elevation profiles and basin morphometric parameters.
